GLASA (Great Lake Adaptive Sports Association) is a wonderful organization that involves children, teens and adults with physical or visual disabilities in athletics events. Amputees, visually impaired, paraplegics and quadriplegics enjoy sports like Sled Hockey, Wheelchair Basketball and Football, Track & Field. Every kind of sport you can think of. http://glasa.org/images//newsletter.pdf

Their motto is "Let No One Sit on the Sidelines"

Amazing kids, with more heart than you will ever see. Some of these athletes have made it to the Paralympics and some hold national records in their sports.

About 63% are on some type of scholarship. Equipment and other facility costs are significant. Over 91 cents of every dollar donated goes to programming and scholarships!
