Welcome to Dean, Susie, Carlos and Roberto's 2017 Chicago Marathon fundraising page! This year both Dean and Susie will be participating in their 4th Chicago Marathon in a row! They will be joined once again by Carlos, who is running his 3rd Chicago Marathon and his brother Roberto who is this year's newcomer! This year’s Chicago Marathon will be held on Sunday, October 8th. We’d love nothing more than to see some familiar faces in the crowds cheering us on. GLASA empowers youth, adults, and injured military personnel with physical and visual disabilities to be healthy and active through sports and recreation participation. They are the only agency in Lake County that is solely committed to providing adaptive sport, health and wellness programs to individuals with physical and visual disabilities. Program participants also come from Cook County and Southern Wisconsin to access GLASA's innovative services. GLASA is committed to never turning away an individual due to an inability to pay program registration fees. Over 63% of GLASA athletes receive free or reduced fee programs. 91 cents of every dollar raised goes directly into GLASA programs. Please help support GLASA and help support us!
