Hi everyone!
Julia Clare and Katee Housner are raising money for Great Lakes Adaptive Sports Association (GLASA) by running the Chicago Marathon on October 8, 2017. Eeep!!
GLASA works to empower youth, adults, and injured military personnel with physical and visual disabilities to be healthy and active through sports and recreation participation.
As current college athletes and future physical therapists, we could not think of a better cause to run for than GLASA. Any donation would be greatly appreciated!
Here's a little bit about why running the Chicago Marathon for Team GLASA is important to us...
"I'm so excited to fundraise and run for GLASA. This charity is close to my heart as it was founded on my very own kitchen table by my mom. Seeing the change this charity has made for hundreds of athletes is so inspirational. It's been a blast volunteering for GLASA and I can't wait to give back to a charity that has been such a great part of my life."- Katee
